2018 SOAR CAR WASH
On August 11, 2018 team members of SOAR Philanthropic Society held their annual car wash to raise funds and give back to the community. Funds were raised for the Canadian Cancer Society - Surrey CIBC Run For The Cure project.
2017 SOAR CAR WASH
On August 19, 2017 SOAR Philanthropic Society held their annual car wash in Surrey, BC to raise funds for helping eliminate the BC Wildfires, which were actively harming many communities in the province.
2016 SOAR CAR WASH
In 2016, local citizens of Fort McMurray were affected by a wildfire that destroyed many homes and buildings. The fire spread across approximately 1,500,000 acres of land in Alberta. Over 80,000 people were evacuated from the community. The team of SOAR organized a car wash fundraiser, where over $1,500 were collected in five hours. All proceeds were donated to the people in need.
2015 SOAR CAR WASH
In 2015 Nepal had a serious earthquake that had a negative impact on many citizens. Over 20,000 local people of Nepal were affected by the earthquake. On June 7, 2015 team members of SOAR, along with individuals from the community got together to organize a car wash fundraiser. Over $900 were collected and all proceeds from this project were donated to Nepal for supporting the people in need.
